The entire movie staff of about fifty people, including Paolo Sorrentino, the director of the movie and leading actor Tony Servillo, gathered at Los Angeles’ iconic hotel, the Chateau Marmont to spend the night before the Oscar’s together.

Giovanni Bulgari – who was raised with a strong sense of excellence and beauty – sees his wine venture as part of the great Italian beauty, a country that undeniably is experiencing a difficult historic moment, but also a country that has many resources, many excellencies and above all can praise many unparalleled beauties and – clearly – great successes, wishes all the best to everyone who was part of this acclaimed Italian production.
He comments: “I am honored to celebrate this Italian success that has already received many awards and many outstanding critics together with the entire cast. It’s been a great and joyful evening and it proves that creativity and quality are – and hopefully always will be – a consistent part of anything our country has to offer”.

Podernuovo a Palazzone, the estate in the Southern part of Tuscany that belongs to Giovanni Bulgari, was acquired in 2004, and produces three red wines: Therra, the blend with Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Merlot e Cabernet Sauvignon; Argirio, a Caberet Franc and Sotirio, named after Giovanni Bulgari’s great, great grandfather, the flagship wine of the estate, a pure Sangiovese. During the evening two wines (Therra and Sotirio, distributed in the US by Maisons Marques & Domains) of the 2009 vintage were served.
